Lost in the Mist

The picture is an promotional image for an innovative Dutch theatre production Sweet Dreams that will be performed at Oeral festival this weekend. In this production the audience is kidnapped by children en put to sleep in the middle of a forest. The ‘show’ starts at 11.00 pm and ends in the morning. 

The striking thing about this image is the mature faces of the girls. One shudders to think what these kids have done with the dog. And more importantly, is this the beginning, the middle of the end of a story? What are these girls up to?
